Copilot or autopilot: how agencies run AI alongside their chatters

Two ways to put AI into chatting: the AI drafts and a chatter sends, or the AI sends by itself. When each one fits and how to move from one to the other.

There are two ways to put AI into an agency’s chats. In copilot mode the AI prepares the reply and a chatter sends it. In autopilot mode the AI sends by itself. Most agencies need both, on different accounts and at different hours.

Copilot: the AI drafts, the chatter sends

A fan writes. A few seconds later the chatter sees a ready answer: the message text and, when the moment is right, a PPV with the media already picked and a price inside your range. The chatter can:

  • send it as it is;
  • edit the text or remove one of the items;
  • ask for another version;
  • give the AI a hint and ask it to rewrite, for example “ask for a tip before you start the game”. The fan never sees the hint;
  • reject the draft and write himself.

Nothing reaches the fan until a person presses send.

Why agencies like it. The chatter stops typing the same openers and stops digging through the vault. The AI does the routine part, and the person keeps what people are good at: judgement, timing and the feeling for a particular fan. One chatter can carry more chats without the quality dropping.

Where it fits best:

  • accounts with whales and long GFE chats, where every message matters;
  • new chatters who do not yet know the model’s style: the drafts teach it;
  • the first weeks with AI, while the team learns to trust it.

Autopilot: the AI sends by itself

On autopilot the AI answers fans on its own, within the same rules: the persona, the price ranges, the allowed vault folders, the audience and the stop topics. When a fan touches a stop topic, such as asking to meet in person, the AI stops and leaves the chat to a person, and you get an alert in Telegram.

Where it fits best:

  • the night shift and the hours when nobody is online;
  • new accounts with no paying fans yet, where a strong chatter does not want to sit;
  • the flood of new subscribers after a free trial link or a promotion;
  • fans who spend little and need many small conversations.

Autopilot never means “out of sight”. Every chat stays visible in the cabinet, any chat can be taken over in one click and handed back later, and sales, stops and a low balance come to Telegram.

A simple rule: the more a single fan is worth, the closer a person should be to his chat.

Moving from copilot to autopilot

  1. Start with copilot on one account. For a week, watch how many drafts go out without edits.
  2. Note what you correct. Each correction is a rule or a line of the persona that is missing. Add it.
  3. Switch the quiet hours to autopilot. Keep the day on copilot while you watch the night chats in the morning.
  4. Keep your best fans with people. Put them on the ignore list for the AI, or keep their account on copilot.

The mode is set per account, so the same agency can run one model on copilot and another on autopilot.

What does not change in either mode

  • The AI sells only from the folders and at the prices you confirmed.
  • It never thanks a fan for money that did not arrive. A tip or a purchase counts only when the platform shows it.
  • You can see every chat and take it over.

Want to see both modes on your own model? Start with the setup guide and test the agent in the sandbox first.

Try it on one model first

Create an account, play the fan in the sandbox and see how the agent answers before it meets a real fan.
